A Garden Tour of the region’s most beautiful gardens - Gardens of The World, natives of New Zealand and old world roses.
I fell in love with Gardens of the World in Hope several years ago and I had visited so often that Mr Etherington, the owner became a very good friend. He left an amazing legacy. It’s a plant lover’s paradise, comprising of plants from all corners of the world. Truly magical.
But the Nelson region has some fantastic public gardens as well. Miyazu, our Japanese Garden, created by our sister city in Japan, Queen’s Gardens with its new Chinese garden addition, Broadgreen Rose Garden for the rose enthusiasts and Isel Park in Stoke for a little New Zealand History and its great stand of old trees.
We will be travelling through the beautiful Nelson region, we can stop anywhere you like, perhaps check out some of the fresh produce grown here and take photos of the beautiful landscapes and gardens.
